Meitheal groups from Killarney and environs have cleared 75 acres of Rhododendron from the Blue Pool wood and Abbey Wood in the past 12 months.

Volunteer Service International (VSI) attend at work camps during the year to clear Rhododendron and do other works in KNP.

Killarney National Park Liaison Committee (KNPLC) provide spotters during Fire season to provide early detection of smoke and fire.

Rowing clubs based in KNP carry out regular clean ups of the Lake shore.

Killarney Looking Good members carry out litter picks and clean ups within Killarney National Park.
